Q. Why has anti - globalization movement developed?
Asked by Melissa - Wed May 13 19:40:38 2009 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Because people misunderstand what globalization means. It is simply a neutral term describing the state of humanity in the 21st century. We are simply interconnected and interdependent. The negative effects of this connection come from us, people, from the way we use these connections in between us. We cannot escape globalization, this is simply our environment we have to live in, what we need to change is our egoistic attitude towards each other, the egoistic ways we relate to each other. It is this selfish way of connecting that is causing all the problems we can see in the world today. I hope it helps, all the best.

Q. all nutty than rat sh!t in a pistachio factory? It seems that whole movement has been ridiculed out of existence by the media. Have you heard of anyone protesting globalization lately?

A. I don't know what globalization means anymore. A few years ago, I thought it meant global capitalism now it seems like it means global socialism. I want the global socialism, not the global capitalism, so to me most anti-globalists look like a bunch of right wing nut cases. I don't know if any government has anything to do with that. It seems to me that most of these 9/11 'inside job', 'bilderberger' fruitcakes are their own worst enemies.

A. You really do not have a question and therefore do not invite an answer. But the question mark that you have posted suggests that the entire idea of left dialectings and the five positions are of doubtful meaning, validity and effectiveness. There cannot be a revolution: there had never been a revolution based on the ideas and thoughts of social scientists and philosophers. Wae minded, low intellectual quality people desires of making a mark coin and sponsor these english words to divert the people's mind from science and scientific analysis to emotive stories laced with unscientific, faulty logic so that they can make common people to get agitated and brainwashed into doing that would allow these weak intellect people to enjoy the life… [cont.]

Anti-globalization?
Q. What do you think of movements like these...
Asked by Harvest Angel of Wisdom - Tue May 6 16:18:54 2008 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments

A. I think they're antiquated, small-minded groups living in the past. Reminds me of the earth is flat society. I'm not sure if it's fear or bigotry or greed that motivate them, but it doesn't really matter. The world is getting really small due to our technological advances and as such we better start getting along. Like it or not we all need to get onboard with the inevitable and bring one another closer rather than fight against change and drive wedges between groups.

What do you think of the 1000 characters limit?
Q. Global impact McDonald's has become emblematic of globalization, sometimes referred as the "McDonaldization" of society. The Economist magazine uses the "Big Mac Index": the comparison of a Big Mac's cost in various world currencies can be used to informally judge these currencies' purchasing power parity. Because McDonald's is closely identified with American culture and lifestyle, its international business expansion has been termed[by who?] part of Americanization and American cultural imperialism. McDonald's is a perpetual target of various and often conflicting anti-globalization protests worldwide. The brand is known informally as "Mickey D's" (in the US and Canada), "Macky D's" (in the UK), "McDo" (in France, Quebec, the Philippines, [cont.]

Is the Pope right that rich nations are thieves?
Q. Pope Benedict appeared to reach out to the anti-globalisation movement yesterday, attacking rich nations for having "plundered and sacked" Africa and other poor regions of the world. The Pope's 400-page book, entitled Jesus of Nazareth, is to be published on April 16, his 80th birthday. TPC: Jesus Wouldn t Bomb a Soul: Camara is noted for once having said, When I give food to the poor, they call me a saint. When I ask why the poor have no food, they call me a Communist. Leonardo Boff in particular drew Ratzinger s wrath. Boff, another Brazilian clergyman, was even more radical in the eyes of the Church than Camara.
Asked by Reba K - Sat Apr 7 00:49:07 2007 - - 14 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The evidence in Africa seems to support the pope, yes. The world at large doesn't seem to notice anything in Africa unless it threatens the flow of oil, gas, gold, diamonds or other natural resources. Does a Darfurian care whether the Catholic Church or Halliburton profits as his family dies? I doubt it. The point isn't who's profitting as he suffers, it's that he suffers and nobody lends a hand.

MSNBC LIE OF THE DAY!?
Q. MSNBC was at it again earlier today, telling more liberal B.S. Fat head Schultz was talking to some guy from the southern poverty institute and fat head was trying to portray John Patrick Bedell as a right wing radical. A guy who wants to legalize marijuana is a right wing radical? A guy who is part of the 911 truth movement is a right wing radical? Okay. The most famous people I ve ever heard support the 911 truth theory are Rosie O Donnell and Charlie Sheen. Both of them have 100% liberal stances. Also, considering the only place where the concept of legalized marijuana has gained traction is in liberal California it is really hard to see how Bedell is not a 100% liberal.
