Where does Ach have inhibitory effects? What types of receptors mediate each of these responses?
Q. State a location at which Ach has stimulatory effects. Where does Ach have inhibitory effects? What types of receptors mediate each of these responses?

A. The site of action for Ach is parasympathetic. The location of receptor is muscarinic receptor. The location of muscarinic receptor is at effector cell. For example heart.Ach has inhibitory effect if the parasympathetic action is higher or same than sympathetic action which means the amount of muscuranic receptor is larger. For example heart, the action of para and sympha is same..so,if Ach is flow in blood stream it will inhibit or slow down heart rate.Other location for Ach action are at gi tract, respiratory tract(secretion),urinary bladder(detrusor and sphincter) and also pupils and ciliary muscle. However, the inhibitory effect based on the action of para or sympa. Becuse not all parasympathetic action to inhibit.

A. Journaling helps. It can even be a form of very focused prayer. Just address it to God, and spill out whatever is in your mind. Often, I do this, and then when I read the Bible or good devotional book right afterward, the answers to the questions I've just asked are right there before me! Then, sometimes, I journal again afterward, to record what God has shown me! To me, this is a form of focused meditation that God uses mightily. "Meditation" used to mean deep thought, probably in communication with God. It's kind of "losing yourself in thought" on the things of God. Asking God to show you your own heart is the best way. He won't necessarily do it at the time you ask him. Often, He will use dreams to do this. As far as the 'Pur [cont.]
